silly me

I just got a pair of socks made of bamboo that have separated toes. Eliza laughed so hard tears squeezed out. Once she could finally speak she said, "Mommy, that's silly! You have gloves on the feet!" then laughed more. I felt like the silly turkey from Blue Hat, Green Hat who kept putting clothes on the wrong body parts, but I don't care - the socks are cozy.

I used to love "toe socks", but I find them less comfortable now that I am "older".
P thinks mine are funny too!

I always wanted to wear the toe socks, but they don't work with my feet:( I've got webbed toes!

I've never worn toe socks, but I may have to give them a try as I have perpetually cold feet. Isn't it interesting what kids will find funny sometimes?

Sophia did almost the same thing yesterday when I put on my only clean socks (ok, that probably discloses more about my house keeping than I should divulge) and they were toe socks. Rather than laugh she looked very very confused and when i asked why she looked confused she said she wasn't confused, I was because gloves don't go on feet. i love the reasoning process of 3 year olds!
